    Hello,

    Brief question: Can you indicate me how to change background color (outside the text and sidebar area), in stretched mode?

    Thank you,

    Regards,

    Poirot

    Hey,

    This will get you started. Add the code on your Quick CSS or custom.css:

    #wrap_all, #main {
    background: gray;
    }

    .fullwidth .content, .template-portfolio-overview.content, .template-fullwidth.content {
    width: 890px;
    padding: 0 20px;
    margin: 0;
    background: white;
    }

    #header {
    color: #333;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #eee;
    background-image: url(../images/skin-minimal/bg-header.png);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-color: gray;
    }

    Hi Ismael,

    I should be able to solve it with this code. However,

    This custom code I added to remove the breadcrumbs is apparently causing trouble:

    .breadcrumb {

    display: none;

    When this code is added, I cannot change the background color (neither in boxed, nor stretched layout).

    This probably sounds strange, but I used trial&error to determine the line of code that interfered with the background color.

    Any idea?

    Regards,

    Poirot

    Hey,

    There is a missing bracket:

    .breadcrumb {
    display: none;
    }

    Hi Ismael,

    Just when I thought I was starting to understand some code… :-)

    Thank you, still I haven’t managed to change the background color as I wanted. But don’t bother, my friend, I will do without. I guess this may require quite some custom coding.

    Enjoy the weekend.
