    Is there a way to have background image sit at top of page so that it is under header area where the cart, log in is. I guess I would need to have the top bg to be transparent too.

    Also, this background would be different on pages.

    Thx

    Hey O5,

    Yep it sure is! You can use background-position to tell the background to show up at X spot and display in a specific way.

    See: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-position.asp

    I believe default, the background image you set will be underneath the header color strip so you won’t need to worry about it unless you actually want to position it lower than that.

    You can target individual pages for different backgrounds like this:

    #top.home {
    background-image: url(http://www......yourimage.jpg);
    }
    #top.page-id-## {
    background-image: url(http://www......your-other-image.jpg);
    }

    Each page has a page id so that you can target it specifically with css. If you are using default permalink settings, you’ll see the page ID in the url of the page or when you hover over the page name when viewing all pages in your wordpress admin area.

    Hope this helps get you started :)

    Regards,

    Devin

    Hey Devin,

    Thanks for the help with this. Another question, I’m trying to make the header (top) transparent, but I’m not sure how to target it, I’m talking about area where my account, cart, checkout is. Could you assist?

    Thank you.

    Hi 05,

    Add this to your custom.css or Quick CSS:

    .info_text_header {
    background-color:transparent;
    }

    Regards,

    Mya
