Since upgrading from v2.0 to v2.1 my background images are working on old posts, but ive just published a new article added the images though the theme gallery and there not showing the images, its defaulting to the theme default background
I have tried choosing “Image List Attached” or “Image Slideshow at the Top” but its still the same, they work but show the default theme background image set via the flashlight theme options and not the new images I have just uploaded / added to the article.
Dont even know where to start on this one, any suggestions ?

I thought it was Jetpack plugin at first, I disabled that but it was still doing it…March 1, 2013 at 10:29 pm #109098
The code on both pages looks identical except on one page there are multiple images and on the other page there is just one. The background on this page http://www.jamespictures.co.uk/2013/scotland-photography-for-a-week/ you say is the default?

Yes thats the problem
this is the default background single image >> http://www.jamespictures.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/xDSC51821.jpg.pagespeed.ic.YbROOJTZfZ.jpg
this shows when I don’t set custom backgrounds, however I have set custom backgrounds for both articles.
They are showing correctly on the old page v2.0 flashlight
They are NOT showing on the new page v2.1 flashlight theme
Im a little confused myself to be honest ( i tried changing the gallery display to other options to see if it was just the theme background but it doesn’t work on any of the other page options either, the default theme background displays instead)March 2, 2013 at 10:17 am #109100
I’ve just deactivated ALL my plugins and it didn’t fix the issue, so im guessing this might be a theme issue ?March 2, 2013 at 9:27 pm #109101
Im getting there, I uploaded a fresh version of the v2.1 Flashlight theme and that worked, so its something in the theme files somewhereMarch 2, 2013 at 9:48 pm #109102
Sorted it, I had missed an edit to the helper-slideshow.php as I have some custom edits in there I missed editing out the unique id so we know which gallery to retrieve edit
Sorry about this my badMarch 3, 2013 at 5:09 am #109103
