Tagged: background image
I’ve got a background image I’d like to apply to the flagship theme that will be consistent across the site. Like the ‘Header Background Image for this entry’ in the page option, I just need more height.
What would be the best way to do that?
Where in the theme do you want to place the background image? In the header or the whole body of the site?
Looking for it to be centered at the top, but the image itself will be taller than the height of the header. I am not too sure where the best placement would be.
For example the height of the image here http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flagship/contact/ is what I would like to achieve across the upcoming site.
Hope that makes sense o.O
The Contact page in Kriesi’s demo uses the Dynamic Template “Big Top Margin”. What makes the difference between this template layout and the others is that Big Top Margin includes an element called “Margin below Main Menu” from which you select the Big Margin option.
So what I suggest doing is if you don’t already have the Big Top Margin template under Flagship > Template Builder then create one using the settings in the screenshot.
Once you’ve done that go to Flagship > Theme Options > Styling, under the Header tab select “Upload custom image” to Background Image and upload your image to the Custom Background Image box that appears. If you want different images on different pages then you would need to upload the image to the Header Background Options box for each page.
Hope this helps!
