I want to change the background for the Shop Base Page of my website found at http://wellspokenart.com/love/
No matter how I set the gallery settings on this particular page, it always displays the theme’s default background images, and it doesn’t let me show the controls.
Here is another page that allowed me to change the background, http://wellspokenart.com/history/ but I don’t seem to be allowed to change it when it is associated with woocommerce.
Thanks!April 20, 2012 at 4:42 am #72364April 20, 2012 at 1:56 pm #72365April 21, 2012 at 5:50 am #72366
I saw the link and I don’t see the default background provided. Did you fixed it already?

no. I didn’t fix it.
any of the pages that involve woo commerce use the site-wide default background gallery no matter what changes I make on those individual pages with respect to the background options. My default background is the whole series of photos seen on the the main page.April 21, 2012 at 7:33 pm #72368
I think what I will do is just remove the default gallery. to see if that will allow me to just do everything one page at a time.April 21, 2012 at 8:56 pm #72369
I deleted pages and readded them. It seems like once you associate a page with woocommerce under the ‘Pages’ tab for WooCommerce Options, you no longer have control over the gallery settings for that page, and it uses the ‘default’ gallery defined for the whole theme. I would like to customize the background for each of the woocommerce pages, but I lose that ability once I associate that page with woocommerce. Any solutions?April 24, 2012 at 2:43 pm #72370
No I don’t believe there is. If you think of the different features as a hierarchy, Woocommerce functionality is at the top so that the shop can go through its motions without the theme having no major issues with it (except those specifically designed).
I’ll double check with Kriesi to see if there is a way around this just in case :)
