I’m looking to re-design my website and I’m liking the look of having color on the sides of the content but white underneath (something like this: http://nieniedialogues.com/ or http://makeitorfixit.com/).

Is there a way I can do this by uploading a custom background? I haven’t figured out a way to do it myself yet but thought I’d see if you have any suggestions. It seems to be tricky with the responsive element of the theme, but I’d love to find out if it is doable.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

It can be possible with CSS, please provide us with the background image (a pattern would be good) you want to implement.

    Thank you!

Here is a link to the image I’d like to use:

And here is what I would picture it looking like with the white behind the content area:

    Hi,

There is no need to apply a custom CSS, Angular has an built-in option for this, follow these steps:

    1. Select a boxed layout of your preference in the Options page (Styling tab)

    2. In the same Tab, scroll down to the ‘Background Image’ section and choose to upload a custom background image, upload the image desired and click the “Use Image” button.

    3. And that would be it, the result:

This is so great! Thank you thank you. I’m not sure how I missed that before, but this is so much simpler than what I was attempting. Naturally it was much simpler than I thought :)
