I need advice on how to change the background under the title of posts. Because if I want to add a background to the title, it also apply to post content.
Maybe someone has an idea how to solve it without having to create a new php?!
try following code to add a bg to your main post title:
Yes, yes:) is what I tried, but I remained a problem. How to fill the background of the whole upper part of the post that contains the title.
An example can be found here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7949409/postbackground.jpg
That’s imho not (easily) possible because you’ll also change the content bg color (as you pointed out above). You can only try to create a background image with a certain height and your headline color and apply it to the .post-entry element. The disadvantage is that you need headlines with exact the same length. Another solution (can get a time intensive and difficult task) is to change the post-title location with margins and paddings or you can modify/move the post title code (in includes/loop-index.php and includes/loop-single.php) so that it’s not affected by the post-entry margins/paddings. Both solutions will require some time/work – you can use plugins like Firebug to investigate the css code).
