when I install the bbpress plugin it is causing the site to no work and the browser display to go blank or white...any ideas?
I have tried the plugin that came with the theme and the plugin from the author's site and no luck. Is there some setting I have set incorrectly? please let me know. thanks!

this sounds like a php error. I'd try to deactivate all other plugins - maybe one causes a conflict. I'd also check the server requirements (php 5.3) and the allocated php memory: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
