    Hi,

I am trying to get the best possible logo resolution onto my website. I have read several threads but they are not helping me.

This is my test website here: http://37.60.224.6/~theaudio/testwebsite/

The logo is 680 x 312 px and name is (Email address hidden if logged out)

I have the WP Retina 2x plugin installed, but if I understand correctly, the theme uses a custom image for the logo, that this plugin will not generate for?

I am not a web developer, so any basic advice would be really appreciated.

I can create the logo as an SVG file, but have not been able to upload this under Theme Options. It doesn’t accept .SVG?? Is this correct?

Many thanks for any help and advice.

    Bryan

    Hi bryan1976!

That’s a pretty large logo. It should have no issues on retina screens. It could probably be scaled down some more to help optimize its download speed actually.

    Thanks for the reply Elliott,

I am confused now! The spec for the logo is 340 x 156 px in the ENFOLD dashboard. Whenever I have designed a logo in photoshop and uploaded at that size, it looks fuzzy on my 15″ Retina macbook.

Am I incorrect to increase the size by 2x??

Is there a way of getting the logo to look as crisp and sharp on the webpage, as it looks within photoshop???

    Thanks,

    Bryan

    Hey!

On your site it looks like you have selected a thumbnail of the image. In the Enfold settings when you select the image to be used as the logo look on the right hand side and make sure the size is set to “full, no scaling” instead of a thumbnail.

    Best regards,
    Elliott
