    I would like to change the background color for the horizontal divider dynamic-element with text. This can be done with custom css by changing the .primary-background class, but that also changes the color of other highlight elements.

    What is the best way to change the background color for the divider, while still keeping the value designated by the “primary color” field in the styling options?

    Hi,

    Please use this css. Place it at the end of custom.css or inside Quick CSS. It will probably work without important as well.

    #top .primary-background.seperator-addon {
    background-color: red !important;
    }

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Thank you for your help, Nick, but that did not work. I am specifically looking to change the color for the dynamically-generated divider that adds custom text. It looks like your code is for the thin color-line divider only. Is this correct?

    Hi Ryan,

    I think the background color you want to change is from this element Horizontal Ruler (Ruler with custom text)?

    If that’s it, the background color behind the text can be changed using this css code:

    .flag-text.on-primary-color {
    background-color: red;
    }

    or

    .flag-text.on-primary-color {
    background-color: red !important;
    }

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Ismael
