Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way I can make the title of the blog posts for this theme appear the same width of the featured image that it sits above. At the moment these titles appear to begin half way across the featured image below it and it just looks out of place.

This would be a lot easier if your posted a link to your site.
You need to either modify the CSS or remove the class from each post format file.
Look in the Theme includes folder and edit these three files.
format-gallery.php
format-link.php
format-standard.php
find
<h1 class='post-title offset-by-three'>
and remove offset-by-three
the css option is more complex since the padding changes based on the use of the sidebars.
