Blog as home page help

   I am not clear from the documentation on how to set up the BLOG as the home page, specifically how to link the home blog page correctly in the navigation bar. I would also like to include RELATED posts at the end of the post. Please advise or point me to more detailed documentation than what is included in the zipped files. Thanks.

   Hi lisabarfield,

   By default, the homepage will display the Blog. All you need to do is add posts under the "Posts" tab. To add a link on the navigation bar, you can go to Appearance > Menus, create a new menu then create a "Home" link from the "Custom Menu" box on the left and add it to the menu.

   As far as the related posts, the easiest way to do this is to use a plugin. Here's a couple choices:

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/

   Mind you I haven't test either of these plugins so I can't attest to their functionality with the theme.

   I'm am not being clear in my problem. I understand the default is to have the blog as the home page. When creating the menu, how do I include a link to get back to the home page (the blog page). I created a page called HOME but it of course goes to HOME which is empty. Please advise.

   Hi,

   You can control all menu links on Appearance > Menus. You can either edit the existing menus or create another one.
