Hi, the blog comments box suddenly dissapeared on me. I have it enabled in the settings and int he page but it still will not appear. As here on the TEST site: 1049272032.n46465.test.prositehosting.co.uk/armani-code-sport/ could you advise on getting this back please?
Hi, yes it appears then disspears. See here: http://www.1049272032.n46465.test.prositehosting.co.uk/perfect-shave/ I have it enabled but it is not showing.
I am wondering if this has anything to do with using the template builder to create the page for that blog post?
I’m not sure I understand. When viewing that page the comment area appears like normal for both Ismael and I.
I’ve left a comment just now that you should see in your moderation queue as an example of seeing and using the comment box.
No it was the other post I was talking about. See the second link I put in there tot eh shaving article for example. It works fine on the other blogs but not this one. http://www.1049272032.n46465.test.prositehosting.co.uk/perfect-shave/
Yes, maybe this is about the custom template that you created on Template Builder. Maybe you can use the default layout for this specific post and see if the comment box will appear.
Yes reverting to default does work. So, this leaves an issue with custom templating. Is there a fix for this or other?
This is an intended behaviour of dynamic templates because comment boxes can cause issues/weird results with some configurations. I reported the request to Kriesi though. I’ll close this thread now. If you want to use comments on a post/page please use a standard template for now.
