We adjusted the coding of the Jetpack plugin to place the social sharing system directly below the post title, however now this is creating an undesired effect in the blog's featured slider system. How can we remove the icons and/or just have the title show up since this is taking over too much of the images?

Hi Andy,
Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
#top .featured_post_slider .featured_inner_slider .sharedaddy.sd-sharing-enabled {
display: none;
}That will remove the sharedaddy icons on the slideshow.
