    Dear Kriesi,

Thanks so much for such a great theme. I’ve recently made some modifications to my site and I’m trying to get the blog as the front page with a different page title to “Blog – Latest News”.

I’ve already tried setting the blog default page with a modified page title as a ‘front page’ under the theme options. When I do this, an empty page shell with the title I want appears on the front page, but no blog content.

Secondly, I have now left the front page option blank on theme options…and the blog content appears, only it has the default “Blog-Latest News” title I don’t want.

I hope this is clear. If you could please explain what I need to do in baby steps (I’m not a programmer) that would be fantastic.

    My site is http://www.gotosarah.com.

    Thank you,

    Sarah

    Hi Sarah,

In your theme files, open up template-blog.php and find then edit this line:

    $title = __('Blog - Latest News', 'avia_framework'); //default blog title

that should change the default title for you.

    Regards,

    Devin
