Hi All

I'm hoping some one might be able to help me.

I am trying to add an image to my test post. I have a video on the actual post but am trying to attach an image to it so it shows on the blog page as per the example page:

http://www.kriesi.at/themes/flashlight/blog/ and on my site http://webbstar.co.uk/blog/ (the post with the picture of the wasp)

how ever when I add the image and change the flashlight setting as per the instructions it doesn't work. Infact it actually displays my background images on the post page rather than displaying the image on the blog thread as it is supposed to be.

I use firefox, Flashlight version 2.0 and wordpress version 3.5.1

any ideas i'd really appreciate it, thanks all

Hi Webbstar,

Download and install/update the most recent version of Flashlight from themeforest under your Downloads. It has a few fixes for images not showing up properly when attached as gallery images using the themes featured gallery area.

Thanks once again for your input, at first glance that seems to have done the trick :)

My apologies but I have to have a little moan. I am not a programer so do use wordpress and the Flashlight theme on face value as if it were any other piece of software, basicaly I don't have the knowledge to look under the bonnet so to speak. So I did spend an evening changing settings etc by process of elimination to try and figure out the problem on my own before I ask for help on the forum.

My question is this. The themes that come with wordpress, twenty 10, twenty 11 etc always tell me when they need updating even though i'm not even using them. Is there anyway flashlight can do this? As I only did an update to 2.0 a few weeks ago so hadn't even dawned on me it was out of date already.

I hope I don't come across as 'having a go' so to speak, as I do really appreciate the help you and the rest of the forum people give! :)

Hey Webbstar,

Glad that fixed the issue and no worries :) Updates have been an issue for any theme other not having their theme on the wordpress database. Envato and Kriesi have been working on a way to help so we completely understand it isn't an often thought of thing to check for.
