How can I make my blog page full width? I have seen the notes for the Portfolio pages but I can’t figure it out for the blog page.
Thanks!March 18, 2011 at 12:36 am #42558March 18, 2011 at 8:03 am #42559
search for following code in template_blog.php:
$k_option['custom']['bodyclass'] = ""; // $k_option['custom']['bodyclass'] = "class='fullwidth'";
and replace it with:
$k_option['custom']['bodyclass'] = "class='fullwidth'"; //$k_option['custom']['bodyclass'] = "";
Afterwards delete following code:
<?php get_sidebar(); ?>March 18, 2011 at 4:22 pm #42560March 18, 2011 at 6:00 pm #42561June 21, 2011 at 2:44 pm #42562
Following up on this one: I was able to move both blog page and individual posts to full width, following instructions above. Now, on Display theme, when typing text into blog post it appears on the right (or center, actually) side of the page. How do I move it flush left. Also, how do I extend the hairlines to the full width, to below the date.

It’s on an internal server right now. I’ll save that tweak for last and I’ll send you a link once I launch. Thanks!June 30, 2011 at 6:24 pm #42566
I followed the above directions on single.php to make blog posts full width, but now the first three lines of any post are kicked to the right, as you can see here. http://18.104.22.168/~deangyor/?p=106
If I start text below any code, it justifies correctly, to the left.
I need to move the text to the left, and also extend the lines and “comment” field all the way to the right.
And it may not be a template issue, but I’m having a hard time getting the text to wrap around the shadowbox. I added this to style.css
to go with the code (below) for the post in the above link. Any help you could provide with that would be appreciated.
