    Slideshow Layout on Single Pages (set to adjust to page layout)

    slideshow on posts seems to be inheriting the height width ratio from the slideshow on the home page. Is is not taking the size of the images in the post slideshow, so I’m ending up with some undesired cropping of images. How do I change the slideshow on posts to either inherit the size of the images or set height/width.

    Thank You

    Hi workerant,

    Go to Post and Edit that particular post. Go to the bottom and find Slideshow Options. Below it you should be able to see “Slideshow Layout on Single Pages”, change the value from “Full Width Slider” to “Adjust to Page Layout”. Hope this helps. :)

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Did that (see above). It’s adjusting to the page layout but not to the images in the slideshow.

    figured it out:

    in loop-index.php

    place above line 54

    $slider ->setImageSize(‘fullsize’);

    where ‘fullsize’ refers to image size options set in functions php. In this case:

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>930, ‘height’=>930, ‘crop’=>false);

    or you can make your own size, for example, one called ‘blog':

    $avia_config = array(‘width’=>990, ‘height’=>500, ‘crop’=>false);
