If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
In ‘Blog Overview Image Layout’ is it possible to change the ‘Display image small beside entry when mouse is hovering entry’ so that the image is displayed there all the time, not just when the mouse is hovering?
Also, how do you change the thumbnail view of this image beside the blog post entry? I have gone into edit image and cropped the thumbnail so that the original and the thumbnail are different however it does not come up as the cropped image next to the blog post entry.

Many thanks in advance!
1) Add this to your Quick CSS or custom.css
display: block ! important;
2) The width & height of the used image is defined in the functions.php file here
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>200, 'height'=>140);
You’ll need to regenerate your thumbnails for any change here to take effect.
