    If I ad an image into the actual blog post – when its displayed it touches the text as per this example: http://www.atlassautism.com./?page_id=24

    The only way to stop this is to ass a caption with each image – but I’d rather not do this as not every image needs a caption – is there a way to always add padding around inserted images so that the text doesn’t butt up to the images?

    Hey,

    sorry for the late answer but one of our support staff members is ill.

    To add a padding to your images search for following code in style.css:

    #main img{
    float:left;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
    display: inline;
    }

    and add a padding attribute like:

    #main img{
    float:left;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
    display: inline;
    padding: 15px 0;
    }

    This will add a padding of 15px to the bottom and to the top.
