Blog posts don't work. Error 404

All of a sudden the blog functions doesn't seem to work. The mail blog page shows the different entries, but when you clock on a headline a Error 404 page shows up.

I don't know what happent. I've changed some css and php files, but only regarding visual stuff.

I know it's not a lot of background info to know whats wrong, butif you have any idea, please help me.

I did some searching on the forum and found my problem. I did change the settings for permalinks. I changed back to the pre-set option and after a while the blog works again. But is there a way to have custom permalinks without messing up the blog?

Try to change the permalink 2 to 3 times and see if it works.
