    I try to change the blogpost settings of the page -> Blog with the Layout Builder but it’s not responding at all.

    the steps I try:

    1. I go to frontend -> page Blog and click on ‘edit page’.

    2 I click edit on element ‘Blog post’ and change several setting and click save

    3. I view the page but nothing changed.

    I keep seeing the Blog page with the first blog with ‘continue reading’ link and below all blog posts full content from all category’s

    Enfold version 1.8.4

    Please advice how to solve this.

    Hey,

    Please update to Enfold 2.0.1 then upgrade your WordPress installation to 3.6. Please use the <!– more –> tag to specify excerpts or click Screen Options then enable Excerpt metabox.

    tried all the solutions available on the support forum to get excerpts only. It does not work, sorry guys.

    Hi kalvin,

    Can you give a bit more detail on what you’ve tried to use to show the short preview text for blog posts on overview pages? The more tag works for me on my site (http://devinvinson.com/ ) as well as on the demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/blog/
