    Hello,

I posted for the first time a vertical image on my blog (which uses the Sentence template), and even though I scaled it at exactly 765 pixels wide so that it wouldn’t be resized or cropped, it is somehow transformed and gets blurred in the process. If you click on it, you will see how sharp it actually is originally: http://www.lapenseemultiple.fr

Do you know why and how to fix it?

    Thank you for your help,

    Kind regards,

    Brice

    Hi Brice,

The image is getting resized to 619px wide and the theme is then using that filesize: http://www.lapenseemultiple.fr/photographies/Brice-Challamel-Calligraphy-619×930.jpg

Check your functions.php file and see if the featured imgSize is set to use that width instead of the default 765. If it is, you can change it back and then save the file. You’ll need to regenerate your thumbnails to get the image regenerated so that it won’t be stretched but that should fix it. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Regards,

    Devin
