    Hi,

    I am optimizing our website built using Enfold. One of the requirements we need to meet is to make sure the breadcrumb mark up shows on Google Structured Data Testing Tool.

    I noticed that for sub pages, the mark up do not show using https://developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/
    Please see attached url for you to view the results from Google. In the results column of the testing too (right side), you should see a markup for “Breadcrumbs”. Apparently, sub pages do not show the mark up for the breadcrumbs.

    If I use a sub page with another page (index/sub-page/sub-page), the Breadcrumbs mark up show in the Google Structured Data Testing Tool.

    Please advise as how do I optimize the breadcrumbs so the sub pages markup show. Thank you.

    I fetched both of the links you provided but they both validated successfully, no errors.

    It’s missing a “Breadcrumb” mark up for all sub pages. Please advise.

    Hi,
    Validate the 2nd link provided (I re attached it) and you will see that the “Breadcrumb” markup is working on pages with sub-pages. I hope I am making sense. I’ve specified the issue on my first entry if you would like to review. Pages do not show the “Breadcrumb” markup. Thank you.

    Like I said before, no errors on both links. Take a screenshot and highlight what your referring to so we can get a better idea.

    Hey!

    I don’t see any issues there. The contact/request-quote page actually has a breadcrumb (Contact Us) and you can see in the markup it has the v:Breadcrumb / v:Title / v:Url applied and you can see that when you fetch the page. Your actual contact page does not have any parent pages so there are no breadcrumb markup there thus nothing gets displayed when you fetch the page in structured data tool.

    Or are you wanting to add the breadcrumb richsnippet to both the home and current page link?

    Hi Elliot,

    Ideally, we would like to add the breadcrumb snippet in the Home and current page link as per our agency told us.

    Can you point me to the right path? I am using a child theme. Thanks in advance.

    Hi!

    It’s pretty complex. You would need to edit the /enfold/framework/php/class-breadcrumbs.php file. It would probably be best to hire a freelancer to help you out with this customization.
