I have changed the breadcrumbs with the help of another topic. It works well but I miss two things:
- the >> that replaced / is only shown in the first separation between main and category but not in the second between category and individuel post, how to fix this?
- I would like to place “hier ben je” (you are here) as the start of the breadcrumb, can’t find out how to do this.
Thanks in advance, Erik
In your style.css you’ll find the breadcrumb info as hidden, remove it.
OR add this to your custom.css / Quick CSS
Then, You are here can be modified over at framework/php/class-breadcrumb.php
echo '<p class="breadcrumb"><span class="breadcrumb_info">'.__('You are here:','avia_framework').'</span> <a href="'.get_bloginfo('url').'">';
I’m not certain why the array isn’t responding in class-breadcrumb.php, but replacing all occurrences of
$markup = $this->options['before'].$this->options['delimiter'].$this->options['after'];
$markup = "<span class="arrow">»</span>";
in the same file you should be good to go.
Let us know if it works.
