    Hi,

    I´m sorry but I can´t find how to insert or activate breadcrumbs on the Angular theme. And the three topics in the angular forum didn´t help me much.

    Thanks

    Hi Paideia,

    As far as I know the theme doesn’t come with breadcrumb navigation. It would need to be added in with a plugin or hard coded into the theme.

    Regards,

    Devin

    Oh, thanks, my mistake :)

    Any plugin you know about being smooth with the theme?

    Thanks again.

    Hi again,

    I have noticed that one plugin that I have, Yoast wordpress SEO, has breadcrumbs option, but I don´t know where to put this code that I need to show it:

    <?php if ( function_exists(‘yoast_breadcrumb’) ) {

    yoast_breadcrumb(‘<p id=”breadcrumbs”>’,'</p>’);

    } ?>

    Thanks again

    Hey,

    If you want that to appear on your Blog, try to edit template-blog.php and find this code.

    avia_title($t_link, $subtitle);

    Put the breadcrumbs below.

    if ( function_exists('yoast_breadcrumb') ) {
    yoast_breadcrumb('<p id="breadcrumbs">','</p>');
    }

    See if it works.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Thanks Ismael, but it didn´t seem to work.

    Also, I would like breadcrumbs to show in all the site, not just the blog (except the main page of course, but the plugin deals with that)

    Hello Paideia,

    I had the same problem with this. For the solution watch this tread in the support forum, this solved it: BREADCRUMBS POSITION

    To see what it looks like: http://www.aangenammakelaardij.nl

    Sorry, I misspelled, it should be: http://www.aangenaammakelaardij.nl

    Thanks!! erbanger that´s what I was thinking, but I can´t reach the thing.

    Can you please tell me what exactly did you use, and how you did it?

    As long as I´ve seen (sorry, I´m no pro):

    in “custom.css” and “header.php” is where everything goes (yoast_breadcrumb being enabled), but I don´t know exactly what and where to put it in Angular so I get the results you have.

    Thank you all again.

    Hello,

    I’m sorry, my bad. I don’t think you need a 3rd party plugin to enable the Angular Breadcrumb. On further inspection you can just echo avia_breadcrumbs(); on the template files like template-blog.php, template-portfolio.php. Open up your custom.css and this code

    .breadcrumb {
    display: block;
    margin-bottom: 10px;
    }

    You might need to echo it out on loop-index.php, loop-portfolio.php, template-portfolio.php etc.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Thanks again Ismael,

    I tried putting the last code you said on custom.css, and

    echoed:

    “echo avia_breadcrumbs();”

    In several parts (to test it: header, templates…) but didn´t worked.

    As I said, I´m no Pro.

    I almost got it with the Yoas plugin, but appeared out of the main frame, all the way to the left of the screen. I´ll wait to see if erbanger can help me with his code (as is exactly the same), or, if not, can you tell me what and where exactly should I put everything in order to appear in a similar place of erbanger´s site? (the breadcrumbs).

    Sorry, and thank you.
