    Hi,

    I discovered at my page, that the breadcrumbs are only shown on (fullsize) PAGES with a fullsize slideshow.

    My header.php:

    <?php

    //display slideshow big if one is available

    if(!empty($avia_config)) echo "<div class='container slideshow_big'>".$avia_config."</div>";

    //if we dont are located on teh frontpge and if there is no big slideshow availabel display breadcrumb

    if(!is_front_page() && empty($avia_config))

    {

    echo "<div id='breadcrumb_wrapper' class='container'>";

    new avia_breadcrumb(array('delimiter' => '/'));

    echo "</div>";

    What can I change, so that the breadcrumbs are shown everywhere, also on fullsize pages?

    Thanks.

    sorry, I forgot, that I have asked this a year before and found the solution here.

    HOWEVER:

    I would like to change this kind of code in the header.php in that way, that the breadcrumbs only at the portfolio single item pages are NOT shown.

    Currently I have this in the header.php:

    <?php

    //if we aren't on the frontpage display breadcrumb

    if(!is_front_page())

    {

    echo "<div id='breadcrumb_wrapper' class='container'>";

    new avia_breadcrumb(array('delimiter' => '/'));

    echo "</div>";

    }

    //display slideshow big if one is available

    if(!empty($avia_config)) {echo "<div class='container slideshow_big'>".$avia_config."</div>";}

    if(!is_front_page() && empty($avia_config) && get_post_type() != 'portfolio')

    {

    echo "<div id='breadcrumb_wrapper' class='container'>";

    new avia_breadcrumb(array('delimiter' => '/'));

    echo "</div>";

    }

    ?>

    but something must be wrong with it …

    Now it works right, that the breadcrumbs show now also on fullsize pages with fullsize slideshow – but I don’t get it to work, so that it shows NO breadcrumbs on portfolio pages.

    Any tips?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Looking at your first post, I am not reading the code that way. I am seeing breadcrumbs are shown when the page is (a) not the frontpage AND (b) No big slider.

    Please change your line that looks like

    if(!is_front_page() && empty($avia_config['slide_output']) && get_post_type() != 'portfolio')

    so that it looks like this

    if(!is_front_page() && empty($avia_config['slide_output']) && !is_singular('portfolio'))

    is_singular() is the conditional check for custom post types. http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/is_singular (even though the description in the reference doesn’t even mention custom post types for some reason)

    Thanks,

    Nick

    It still shows the breadcrumbs on single portfolio pages.

    Breadcrumbs should NOT be on single portfolio pages.

    Currently I have in the header.php

    <?php

    //if we aren't on the frontpage display breadcrumb

    if(!is_front_page())

    {

    echo "<div id='breadcrumb_wrapper' class='container'>";

    new avia_breadcrumb(array('delimiter' => '/'));

    echo "</div>";

    }

    //display slideshow big if one is available

    if(!empty($avia_config)) {echo "<div class='container slideshow_big'>".$avia_config."</div>";}

    if(!is_front_page() && empty($avia_config) && !is_singular('portfolio'))

    ?>

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Hi colorit,

    I would just use a bit of css to make it quick and simple. Something like:

    #top.single-portfolio #breadcrumb_wrapper {
    display: none;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin
