Just a quick question. If I re-upload the new version folder via FileZilla will I lose custom templates, lose image resizing, etc?

Or do you recommend just uploading the handful of files mentioned in files version?

    Hi blospa …

before updating … always make a backup of all your files on the server !

    1. Backup your “custom.css” file on your server

You will find it here: “themes/brightbox/css/custom.css”

    2. Upload the “new updated” brightbox theme

    3. Upload your backuped “custom.css” file

to the new updated theme to “themes/brightbox/css/” folder

You should not loose anything … I did it like this …

That worked fine. However, now I cannot change the main navigation. It is showing all my page links instead of main navigation…

You can add a custom menu in WP >> Admin >> Designs >> Menu
