    Hey,

    the user set a custom body background in css/custom.css:

    body {
    background: url("http://www.backpackguru.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/bbgtilehead.png") repeat-x scroll left top #FFFFFF;
    }

    and added a banner instead of the search field: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/replace-search-form-for-banner

    Hi Dude,

    thanks for the speedy reply! Sorry, I wasn’t clear in my question above – had wanted to know how to replicate the layout of what I thought were post excerpts on the page above – I contacted them direct and turns out this is white label advertisement generated by an affiliate, so looks like no dice there.

    Another question though – were would I find the code to increase the size of feature image displayed for posts in the search results:

    eg image on left:

    http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/?s=mordi

    thanks in advance :)

    Open up includes/loop-search.php and search for:

    $image = avia_image_by_id($slides[0]['slideshow_image'], 'widget', 'image');

    You can replace “widget” with different sizes like: “archive” or “portfolio”. You can find all image sizes in functions.php

    You also need to adjust the image container size – add following code to css/custom.css and adjust the dimensions:

    .search .news-content .news-thumb {
    height: 48px;
    width: 48px;
    }

    Hi Dude,

    thanks again for another quick reply, the above worked a treat! I have also changed the blog and archive pages to the same format (as search results):

    blog – http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/our-events/

    archives – http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/category/vic/

    could you advise of the code/s (for blog and archives) to add to css/custom.css to adjust the image size containers to appear the same as in the search results:

    http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/?s=mordi

    Also, which file would I need to go to edit the headings and dates (to increase sizing and bold) for blog and archives after the above changes have been made?

    Thanks again for your help so far :)

    #50002

    I’d use:

    .search .news-content .news-thumb  {
    height: 125px;
    width: 243px;
    }

    .search .news-time{
    font-size: 10px;
    }

    .search .news-headline{
    font-size: 10px;
    }

    To adjust the images + headlines, etc. You can add other attributes (font-weight, etc.) too.

    Thanks once again dude, have made the above changes and looks great!

    What code would I need to use to add to css/custom.css to replicate the above to adjust the image size containers for:

    blog – http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/our-events/

    archives – http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/category/vic/

    Cheers :)

    #50004

    Use:

    .blog .news-content .news-thumb, .archive .news-content .news-thumb   {
    height: 125px;
    width: 243px;
    }

    #50005

    Hi Dude,

    thanks for this! I applied the following code to css/custom.css:

    .archive .news-content .news-thumb {

    height: 125px;

    width: 243px;

    }

    .blog .news-content .news-thumb {

    height: 125px;

    width: 243px;

    }

    the changes to archive worked:

    http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/category/nsw/

    but no change for blog:

    http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/our-events/

    any advice on what I need to edit would be fantastic :)

    cheers

    #50006

    Also, forgot to add – when I made the change to archive:

    .archive .news-content .news-thumb {

    height: 125px;

    width: 243px;

    }

    the image size in the widgets area also increased to 125px x 243 px – how can i have these remain at 48px x 48px?

    Thanks again :)

    #50007

    Try:

    .archive .content .news-content .news-thumb, .page .content .news-content .news-thumb {

    height: 125px;

    width: 243px;

    }

    #50008

    Fantastic – that worked :)

    Do you know how I can fix the blog page so the horizontal line beneath each excerpt stretches over to the left more like on the archive page and increase the spacing between this line and the body text?

    Would like the blog page:

    http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/our-events/

    to look like the archive page:

    http://www.marketeventsgroup.com.au/category/vic/

    cheers :)

    Add following code to css/custom.css:

    #template-blog .hr {
    margin-left: 0;
    width: 100%;
    }

    #50010

    Thanks dude, above worked :) Looks great

    Glad that I could help you :)
