Bug or feature? Sidebar not displayed on page/post through Template Builder

When adding Post/Page through Template builder, that page/post is showed without its sidebar.
But if I add Blog via Template Builder, it's sidebar is showing alright.

Is this a bug or a feature?
Reason I'm asking is because I want to show a page with sidebar on the frontpage, because I need some widgets there and don't want to put a sidebar on the whole frontpage.

Hi ncux,

I think the question is related to shutterlags link though I'm not sure exactly which way Kriesi intends for it to work after the next update. I've tagged him on the topic and will send him an email asking as well to be sure :)
