    Hello,

    I am trying to set up this plugin: http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/appointments-plus/
    I need corrections in styling, I want to have the buttons identical with my theme’s buttons.
    I got some advices, I added these code to my theme’s custom css:

    .app_submit_btn {
    background: #2997ab !important;
    margin-left: 1px !important;
    }

    div.next a {
    margin-left: 1px;
    }

    div.previous a {
    margin-left: 1px;
    }

    I am not sure if this code caused the problem, that the default theme button styling is gone. I tried to remove the classes above, nothing changed.

    Would you advise me please what I could do to get my sleek buttons back?

    Thanks a lot,
    Viktoria

    Hey Viktoria!

    Clear your minified css and any cached data you have set from plugins and see if that helps bring things back to normal. Right now the plugin styles are wrapping your buttons.

    Devin

    Hi!

    Can you please post a screenshot of how you want the button to look like? You can use this on Quick CSS:

    .app_services_button {
    border-radius: 3px;
    padding: 10px;
    font-size: 12px;
    text-decoration: none;
    display: inline-block;
    border-bottom-style: solid;
    border-bottom-width: 1px;
    margin: 3px 0;
    line-height: 1.2em;
    position: relative;
    font-weight: normal;
    text-align: center;
    max-width: 100%;
    background: #2997ab !important;
    border-color: #2997ab;
    }

    Ismael

    Dear Ismael,

    I placed it into Quick css, and custom css, no change :(

    I want the style of the theme:

    Choices Buttons

    Now they are plain.

    Hi!

    Please edit js > avia.js, find this code at the very beginning:

      $(document).ready(function()
        {
            var aviabodyclasses = AviaBrowserDetection('html');

    Below, add this code:

    $('.synved-button, .app_services_button').addClass('avia-button');

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hey!

    Try adding this code to the Quick CSS:

    button.synved-button {
    color:#fff !important;
    background-image: url("http://www.theartsofsilence.com/wp-content/themes/choices/images/icons/bg-button.png") !important;
    background-repeat: repeat-x !important;
    background-position: 0 0 !important;
    font-size: 12px !important;
    text-decoration: none !important;
    display:inline-block !important;
    -webkit-border-radius: 3px !important;
    -moz-border-radius: 3px !important;
    border-radius: 3px !important;
    border-style: solid !important;
    border-width: 1px !important;
    margin:3px 0 !important;
    line-height: 28px !important;
    border-color: #e1e1e1 !important;
    background-color: #f8f8f8 !important;
    position: relative !important;
    font-weight:bold !important;
    background-color: #d7d7d7 !important;
    border-color: #d7d7d7 !important;
    text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 1) !important;
    color: #444 !important;
    }
    button.synved-button:hover{
    background-position: 0 -4px;
    opacity:0.8;
    color:#fff;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi Josue,

    The style of the buttons are back without adding the code above – you probably worked on it – , however it is still not picking up the color even with your code. I tried the change the color scheme, but the button color remained the same.

    We are getting closer, and I appreciate your attention.

    Hey!

    The code i provided should change the buttons of this page (which are produced by a plugin):

    Hi Josue,

    I see something similar to yours WITHOUT your code.
    Buttons

    I don’t know what made it fixed, but the style changed.

    If I add your code, it only changes a little bit on the colors, but it is still grey, and the theme color schemes are still not displayed.

    Hi!

    What color do you want for those buttons?

    Hi,

    Right now, I have the “Cyan” color scheme. That’s what I want. But I also want to be able to change the theme color scheme with the button-colors as well.

    You know, it was working just fine until about a month ago. Don’t understand why I need these adjustments in the css… Something is wrong with the shortcode….

    This is the shortcode I have:

    [button link="http://live.theartsofsilence.com" size="large" style="info" color="#2997ab" text="light"]Test Button[/button]
    And as it shows: http://www.theartsofsilence.com/glossary-2/ —this should be an info button, with the little info icon, and color cyan, and light text as you see.

    I am not an expert of this, but honestly, I think the problem won’t be solved adding more to the css.

    Thanks,
    Viktoria

    All right… I found the solution!!!
    I discovered, that other shortcodes didn’t work as well. I had this plugin http://synved.com/wordpress-shortcodes/ activated, that caused the problem!

    What a fiasco!

    So all the buttons are back to normal now :)
