If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I have added a HTML login to the footer using the widget text box which links to an external site allowing users who visit my site to login to the other site direct from the footer if they are members of the site. I have inserted the HTML code and the login works directing me to the other site and logging me in, no problem there. Unfortunately, the actual button to submit the request is a typical HTML button and looks horrible, i would like to use a theme button a bit like the ‘Submit’ button to send this topic post. I have tried to insert the code in to the HTML code and it appears as it should but when i login and press the button it doesn’t do what the HTML button does. Is there a way to include the theme button to login me?
Try adding the .class button to that submit button:
<input type='submit' class="button">
Thank you for using the theme. I hope you’re doing great.
Please find this line of code:
<button type=”submit” tabindex=”3″>Sign In</button>
Replace it with:
<button class="button" type=”submit” tabindex=”3″>Sign In</button>
