I changed the slider background to an uploaded image but it also changed the callout background which makes the words hard to read.
I was able to change the background color behind the words through ~ Quick CSS
But I would like to change the background of the whole div so that the callout will be distinguishable from the slide area.August 29, 2013 at 10:22 pm #138183August 30, 2013 at 6:50 pm #138184
So I keep seeing other questions newer than this answered ~ is there not a way to customize the background color in the callout for incarnation?August 31, 2013 at 7:22 am #138185
You can use this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:

As in my original post ~ I was able to change the background of the words.
But I am using the responsive design and need to change the color of that whole div to distinguish that section from the slide area not just behind the words.August 31, 2013 at 3:56 pm #138187
Can you give us a screenshot of what you’re trying to do? You can post it using imgur, dropbox, mediafire etc.

You gave me the code for the RED block
I would like to choose the color for the whole section colored GREENSeptember 1, 2013 at 12:22 am #138189
This is not possible because the call out box is inside a container with a definite width of 930px. You need to hire a freelance developer to modify the overall layout of the theme for you.

But in the demo that section is colored and changes color with the choice of theme color
It is also fully responsive and not a fixed with 930.September 1, 2013 at 2:22 pm #138191
Actually they are predefined color schemes and not only that green section you showed but whole slider background changes color with them.

I know that ~ but when I change the slider background it changes that green div also
I want to change the slider background and leave that green bar a solid color so that vistors can read the callout messageSeptember 2, 2013 at 1:01 pm #138193
That’s how it supposed to be. As Ismael mentioned it’s not possible to only change that green section.
