Hello, I would like to put an image in a footer column but can not a find a way to easily do this. The image (jetpack) widget requires me to input an image url..??
dont know about the image widget, is it from a plugin?
If you go to the media libary and choose an image, you’ll see the file URL on the right side.
You could that for the image url in your widget.
Hope that helps, otherwise you’d have to wait for a reply from the actual support.
You also could look for another image widget plugin.
it was one of the available widgets to drag in to the various toolbars etc. I’ll try the media library option.
Thanks for your help!
just checked it.
Looks like the widget comes from the Jetpack plugin.
You could install another plugin like: wordpress.org/plugins/image-widget/
To make it easier to add images with a widget.
But in my opinion, every plugin i install increases the chance that one of them makes my site vulnerable.
