closed resolveddon't know how else to explain except when using the dynamic template function, one can add a certain number of portfolio items and each category will have a toggle button, and the transition between categories is nice and smooth..
This doesn't exists for products or the default shop page. any creative work around on this?

Both post types use different templates and the portfolio templates are more flexible than the product templates (because of woocommerce compatibility reasons). It's not easily possible to "rebuild" the product templates and to make them look like portfolio entries. Every woocommerce update which changes the template structure (and nearly every update introduced some template changes) would break the theme over and over again.
