If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
My client informed me that 2 pages are missing from website. These were there previously as 2 sub pages under a main navigation menu title. I have no idea if they accidentally deleted them, but it would be difficult to delete both and delete them from the menu as well. I went to see if they are in the trash, but I cannot find a trash link anywhere in wordpress pages. These are pages not posts, but I don’t see a trash link in the posts either.
If I cannot locate the pages, is there anyway to recover? These had a lot of content and photos that cannot be replicated or I would redo those pages. I have not updated the wordpress or plugins so that could not be the issue that caused this. Do you have any advice on how to locate or why I have no trash icon? thanks.
We can not assist with general WordPress issues like this. Your best route would be to post on the general WordPress support forums for troubleshooting.
In general though you can try getting WordPress back to basics by deactiving all active plugins and then making sure basic functionality like your page trash is active.
