Cannot write text in Greek... When saved all text is converted to ??? Plz. help

in any post when i write greek text it seems ok but when saved it all gets converted in questionmarks "??? ???"

i am using arial font in paragraphs

my wp installation is greek and i see greek text everywhere else in wp admin & website frontend

plz. help

for some reason encoding was not utf-8 in wordpress tables, so when saving text it was converted to some swedish codes
we solved (?) by changing encoding to utf-8 directly in wp tables

Strange. Afaik our themes do not change/touch the database collation but I'll ask Kriesi....
