If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
This should be an easy one. In past posts people have been told to modify the copyright text in Sidebar.php and they go off and do it. But I’m not exactly sure what to change when I’m faced with
echo "<span class='copyright'>".__('© Copyright','avia_framework')." <a href='".home_url('/')."'>".get_bloginfo('name')."</a></span>";
When I try to add a line of text into the copyright info, my whole Home page disappears, so obviously I’m putting it in the wrong place! Can you give me an example of exactly how to modify that line? I want to add the following “Webmastered by Laura E. Kelly” before the copyright line.
2) I’d also like to change what the name on the copyright says (not the automatic name of the site), but am not sure what code to delete, since I’ve tried a few things and it doesn’t work. I’m probably just missing a ) or something, but don’t know.
Replace the code with following line:
echo "<span class='copyright'><a href='http://www.laura-e-kelly.com/creative-work/website-portfolio/'>Laura E. Kelly</a>.<br/>© Copyright <a href='".home_url('/')."'>Your copyright name</a></span>";
and instead of “Your copyright name” fill in your personal copyright text.
