There doesn’t seem to be any way of doing either of these things when editing templates. Please can you add it in for the next update?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

to duplicate a template you can just copy one of the template files (like template-blog.php or template-fullwidth.php) and change the name to template-something.php.

Then you’d change the Template Name at the top of your newly created file.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me. I meant when using the Template Builder – Just add those options into the interface. Right now there is no way to copy or change the name of any of the new templates you create.

I’ll ask Kriesi to look into it :)

Ok changing that would be smart from a usability perspective I agree. I am however not sure if tht will happen soon since it would require a huge effort to modify the framework to work that way. If I happen to find a smart solition for this i will implement it, meanwhile i put it on my “featured to think about” list :)

Thanks for looking at it, Kriesi. Of the two, being able to edit the name is probably the most important. Wiithout that option, you have to redo the template all over again.
