Hi, I created a page to go into the portfolio. Weirdly when I upload the photos I can't get them to show up in a thumbnail grid. There's just nothing. Yet I can get them to show up in a blog post if I do exactly the same thing. I'd just put them all in blog posts but then the date shows up in the corner and I can't get rid of that. How do I get the thumbnails to show up in a grid on a page? Or get rid of the date on a blog? This is driving me crazy and I think it's because I don't have some box checked somewhere. Great theme though- thanks!

I know the theme documentation doesn't highlight this very well, but you shouldn't have any issues if you click the Upload button (green button underneath the text editor), after select the image to upload you click "..then close the window and update gallery preview". Once you update the page/post it, you shouldn't have any issues with the images.
Just make sure you are using the Slideshow Options underneath the text editor in the portfolio window.
