This is driving me crazy. And I am fairly new to WordPress in terms of actual site management, so please bear with me.

I have tried with both simple-forums and bbpress, and the problem is the same, the template has the sidebar for widgets on it and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to display my forums in Habitat WITHOUT the sidebar. I know it can be done, because these people here have done it: http://www.voracityguild.com/?page_id=280

If there is a place that you specify the page template (blog, portfolio, etc), I cannot find it.

    Hey,

as far as I know bbpress & simple:press offer shortcodes: http://bbpress.org/forums/topic/bbpress-20-shortcodes

Thank you sir. I understand what you are referring to in terms of shortcodes. But what I don’t get is how to create a page without a sidebar that displays my forums across the width of the template (such as the example I linked above, which happens to use the Habitat theme as well).

Nevermind! LOL I figured it out. I needed to select “Full width” from the page attributes. :)

Still new to wordpress and it’s world and figuring it out. So used to Joomla lol.
