Can't upload due to a missing style sheet

Downloaded from themeforest tried to upload and this is the error message.

ERROR we received:
Installing Theme from uploaded file: themeforest-616050-flashlight-fullscreen-background-portfolio-theme (1) (1).zip
Unpacking the package…

Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Theme install failed.

The same issue: Broken Themes, The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template. Stylesheet is missing...

Solved: I had unzipped it and made a new zip file containing only the theme, leaving out the folders: __MACOSX, documentation etc...

Hi Pijer,

Glad you were able to figure it out. The package you get from themeforest whenever you download a theme is not the one you use to upload to Wordpress as it is everything that comes with the theme and then the theme's zip itself.

So you only ever need to unzip the first download then you can upload the flashlight.zip which has the theme inside it.
