    Hi

    I was wondering hw I’d go about changing the little black box that appears on the gallery images when I have a caption for them.

    I’d like to move it so it is at the very bottom of the image, not half an inch up, and also is it possible to make it either span the whole image, or about half of it, regardless of the amount of text? Thanks

    Hey,

    Can you post a direct link to the page or a screenshot if you can’t share the URL?

    Just want to make sure I give you the correct solution.

    It would appear I’m not allowed to post attachments, so I’ve uploaded the image to our site as a seperate file (just the image of the problem.)

    It’s available at http://www.identityconsulting.co.uk/Newsite/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/hiqweb.gif

    Hey,

    search for following two entries in style.css and change the bottom value from 40px (20px) to 0px:

    .feature_excerpt{
    padding:20px 30px 20px;
    bottom:40px;
    display:none;
    font-size:13px;
    line-height:1.8em;
    position:absolute;
    z-index:3;
    max-width:80%;
    max-height:70%;
    overflow:hidden;
    }

    and:

    .entry .feature_excerpt{
    font-size:11px;
    padding:10px 15px;
    bottom:20px;
    }

    To change the width add a width attribute like:

    width: 100%

    or:

    width: 50%

    to both entries… (you can delete the max-width attribute from the first entry) :)
