    in the following post I have two problems with the caption title, :

    http://kooksjournal.net/caption-post/

    1. As you can see, the title sinks into the caption area, how can I fix this?

    2. Another question is when I activate NEXTGEN gallery the caption text alignment becomes centered, but I would like it to be left aligned like it is by default, I also inserted to images showing before and the after the activation of the NEXTGEN gallery:

    3. And the last question is how can I modify the caption background color from dark color to something a bit more light color?

    Hi,

    1.) Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS

    .slideshow_caption h1 {
    padding-bottom: 20px;
    text-align: left;
    }

    2.) The next gallery is messing up with the prettyPhoto plugin. You have a double caption on the slider because of it. Please disable it.

    3.) You change the background with this

    .slideshow_caption {
    background: gray;
    }

    Hi Ismael,

    When I use the following code to change the color I get three diffrent tones of gray, a thick border and I have been unable to create the same effect where I have to stripes of or tones of background, one for the title and the other for the caption. You can see it here:

    http://kooksjournal.net/caption-post/

    .slideshow_caption {

    background: gray;

    }

    Hi,

    The NextGen Gallery is ruining the style of the theme, it is creating a duplicate caption. Please deactivate the plugin or deactivate the caption settings of the plugin.

    Hi Ismael,

    I deleted NEXTGEN gallerry but the question I asked had nothing to do with NEXTGEN, the following is still valid:

    “When I use the following code to change the color I get three different tones of gray, a thick border and I have been unable to create the same effect where I have to stripes of or tones of background, one for the title and the other for the caption. You can see it here:

    background: gray;

    }”

    Hi ozgurpolat,

    There is a combination of two backgrounds and the main one inherits the opacity while the second does not. So with the following:

    .slideshow_caption {
    background: #033;
    }
    .slideshow_caption .inner_caption {
    background: #cc0;
    }

    You get a blue background on the caption and a yellow background on the text inside the caption. The green is the overlap for easy reference of what is what and you can just change the color codes as needed.

    Regards,

    Devin
