If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Hello folks, first’m from Brazil (so I’m using google translator).
What I am trying to ask is there in place the main menu categories (product categories) and not the category of posts.
Please help me out!
Go to Products > Categories > Copy the URL of the category by clicking on “View” link then go to Appearance > Menus and paste the URL you copied into the “Custom Link” field.
like that of an automatic way, because I also use submenu. http://www.provae.com.br/testando/
I think Mya’s suggestion is the easiest way to add a link to your product categories. :)
but I want to make submenus, such as the categories have: Male, female dai inside has, pants, shirts … How do I do that?
I’m not sure if this is what you are asking, but there is a way to add Product Categories directly into the menus through the Menus Manager. Go to your Menus Manager and at the top right hand corner of the screen you should see a little tab that says “Screen Options”. Click that and the dropdown that appears will have a bunch of options. Make sure the option “Product Categories” is checked then close that area by clicking on Screen Options one more time.
Now you should be able to add Product Categories to your menus on the left hand side just like you would add a page to the menu.
The topic ‘categories in the main menu’ is closed to new replies.
