When I click on a product category in the menu bar, I expect the category's image to be displayed - instead the products show up.
The (uploaded and inserted) category image does not show at all
- What do I need to do to get the product category image displayed?

Unfortunately Nick's solution seems to be missing in the thread (see last paragraph).
Create a new thread and tell me what problems you are encountering and what you want to know. 
There is no step 3 :)
