Hi, my site is http://www.yyscene.com and I would like to change the way the category layout i.e taste looks. I have a section on the frontpage, called "What's Up?" and would like the category layout to look the same.Thanks!

The easiest way to do that would be to create templates exactly how you did the "whats up" section but customized for each blog category instead of all of them. Then link to those pages in your menu instead of directly to the category. Directly clicking on a category would still bring up this layout but changing that would be the other option.
Option two is you'll need to change the archive.php file to use the loop-archive.php loop, then customize that file to display the way you want. This wouldn't be something we could provide steps for however.
