    Hi there,

For me, it seems like it is an issue related to the plugin.
can u please contact the plugin author and let us know what he will say about the issue?

Thanks a lot for your patience

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi,
But with other template the category pages are shows correctly…

    #638335

I restored the backup of the database before the change of the categories, and the problem is still present. At this point I do not know how long the problem was present.
Using standard templates (like Twenty Fourteen) the problem disappears. Using the RSS feeds selectively by category (eg: website.com/category/namecategory/feed) the problem is not present. The problem seems to enfold.

    Any Idea?

    Hi,

not every plugin is compatible with every theme. You need to contact plugin’s author about this. If he can’t help you, then you would need to search a different plugin or hire a freelance developer to make it compatible with Enfold.

    Best regards,
    Andy

No, maybe you did not understand. After my first message I restored a backup of the wordpress database, the problem may not be the plugin.

    Please read carefully

24 May -> Complete backup of wordpress DB (before installing the plugin).
25 May -> Install and use Term Management Tools
25 May -> Restore a 24 may backup. The problem persist.

The problem was still present before installing the plugin but evidently I had not noticed
The problem is enfold. ALL other template works fine.

    Hi,

difficult to understand what you mean for me. However, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • the URL to the login screen
    • a valid username (with full administration capabilities)
    • as well as a password for that username

    Best regards,
    Andy

The problem is simple: the category pages show the wrong articles.
In the private data field you can see the login credentials.
    Thanks.

    Hi,

we need access to your enfold settings inside your backen, but it seems that they are hidden. Please let us know when we can access your full backend.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi,
the Enfold settings are accessible through the “opzioni tema” in the top bar of the backen.
However, you can access using the link that I included in the private content of this post.

    Hi,

Is this the only category with the issue? What happens if you remove the category then add it back? Looks like the site is previously created using drupal. Did you import the posts from the drupal site?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #640829

No, the issue is presente in all category.
If I delete the category and then create it again, the problem persists.
Yes, the posts were imported from drupal, but immediately after the import I am sure that the problem was not present.
Other templates do not have this problem

    Thanks.

    Hi,

are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins temporarily for testing purposes?

    Best regards,
    Andy

    #640875

Yes, you can temporarily disable all plugins, but it is an attempt that I’ve done.

    Hi,

There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi,
i deleted and reupload the Enfold directory in the wp-content/themes, but the problem persist.
All other template works fine. I tried to create a new test category with only 1 article, the problem persists.

    Hi,

I see it on your end, but I can’t reproduce the issue on my end. So something must cause it especially on your end, as it is working for us and thousands of other customers.
I still think there are some corrupted files and if you delete all theme files completely before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account, the issue should go away.

However, maybe it has something to do with Drupal immigration. Or maybe your server is using some kind of caching. Please ask your host about it.

    Best regards,
    Andy

as I wrote in the previous post, I have tried deleting and reupload a fresh copy of enfold folder. But the problem persists.

if the problem had been the migration from drupal, also other template should have problems. I remind you that the magazine element of enfold (which you can see on the homepage of the site) works correctly with category filtering … the database is the same … the hosting is the same. The hosting has no cache.

It may be useful can provide credentials to access via FTP, or I can provide the database dump.

    Thanks.

    Hi!

Do you mind if we access the site via FTP? Please post the login details here. Or edit the .htaccess file then post the code on pastebin.com.

    Cheers!
    Ismael

    #642895

Hi, in the private data you can file the FTP login details. But in the .htaccess file I had already tried to eliminate everything leaving only the wordpress instructions, and the problem persisted.

    No news?

    #643763

    Hi,

I’m sorry but we are a bit lost here. We have no idea why the archives display all items from different categories. And this is the first time that we encountered a site imported from Drupal to WordPress. Please try to upgrade PHP 5.3 to 5.4 or higher.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
