I'm having an issue with the category widgets duplicating. I've setup 7 categories just like the demo and each category has its own widget area. For some strange reason 2 of those categories are duplicating. For instance if I have a category called technology and one called news, the widget items that I setup for technology is automatically showing up for news as well. The news widget area is has nothing in it. Why would this be happening?

someone reported this problem a few weeks ago. James already informed Kriesi about this problem/bug. You can use widget logic: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/ as a workaround at the moment.Posted 2 years ago # -

I tried the conditional tags, but when I plug in the code for the category that I want the widget to display it only shows a portion of it. For example I have 7 different categories and each category has its own widget area. Within that widget area I have specific ads that display. When articles that I created appear in multiple categories, the widget area gets overridden by the other category. If I tell widget logic to display the appropriate category it only displays one ad from that section instead of all of the contents in that widget area. Do you understand? I know it's confusing!
