Change all my posts to portfolio items?

Hello, I am updating my website to use your theme and I want to make use of the portfolio display options.
I am still on my old theme which uses posts instead of portfolio items (www.melissadoran.com). Because I have a lot of posts that I now want to become portfolio items, I was wondering if you have any suggestions as to how I could change them in bulk to become portfolio items instead of posts?
